Our EPIC Story
After both competing years at National American Miss state and Nationals, both Katie Kenny (Cole) and Allie Curtis were crowned National All-American Miss and National All-American Miss Teen 2010-2011 and became pageants sisters.
Allie came to visit Katie in her 50-state bucket list tour and the two decided it would be ideal to start coaching together.

In January 2023, Allie was informed she would be deployed overseas in May, so it was time to add another consultant to the team. Alexis graciously came on board after being a client of EPIC for three years.

Katie, Allie, and Alexis all have a passion for finding the true inner growth of individuals both professionally and in pageants. Clients succeeding in life is the ultimate goal!

Katie Kenny has over 20 years of experience as a pageant contestant and titleholder. Katie's experience competing consists of National American Miss, Royal International Miss, Miss America Organization, Miss USA, American Coed, Outstanding American Miss, Miss Nationwide, World's Glamorous Miss, Miss American Model, America's US Miss, and Star Jewel. Awards and titles are listed below. As a lifetime dancer and adrenaline rush junkie, she found her way into cheerleading in high school after competing for dance and gymnastics for over 10 years. She was a state champion in cheerleading and went on to cheer at Iowa Central Community College and later Northwest Missouri State University where her team was named two time UCA Collegiate Champions. She worked eight years on UCA staff. Over her time with UCA, she led coaches training sessions, worked college staff all over the United States, and led camps of over 300 athletes. After starting her job full time, she started her own choreography business called, Intensity Choreography. She now choreographs cheer routines all over the Midwest. She can also choreograph dance routines and alter dance routines to meet the pageant competition world.
Katie has been a featured speaker at Huron's What's Right in Healthcare Conference and facilitates leadership sessions and has developed a Leadership Playbook for use with her past organization. She is a TEDxSpeaker, with a talk titled "Bullying, Death, and Drama: Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover". She is a trained Predictive Index Consultant, Extended DISC certified, a graduate of Dale Carnegie's courses titled "How to Win Friends and Influence Business People" and "Breakthrough to Leadership", Aveea Consulting Extreme Facilitation, and Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Katie holds a B.S. in Marketing and Management and a Master's in Business Administration from Northwest Missouri State University. Katie has worked in Human Resources since 2015. She currently serves as a Senior HR Business Partner for a corporate organization. She resides in Waukee, IA and has two children (Josie and Christian), and has two dogs Charley and Bentley and is married to Will. In her spare time she loves working out, reading, binge watching shows, volunteering, and going to Hope Lutheran Church.

Allie Curtis, MPA
Consultant
Allie Curtis served as Miss Rhode Island 2015 and was named a Quality of Life award finalist at Miss America 2016 for her platform “Leading Ladies: Equipping Young Women With the Skills to Lead.” Allie has 15 years of experience as a pageant contestant and titleholder. Allie’s other titles and pageant accomplishments include National All-American Miss Teen 2010, Miss Earth USA Eco 2020, 4th Runner Up to Miss World America 2017, and Top 10 at Miss Rhode Island USA 2016.
Allie has been a featured speaker at several major conferences and events including Running Start’s Young Women’s Political Leadership Summit and the New England Women's Policy Conference. For her work with "Leading Ladies" she was honored at the 10th annual Young Women to Watch Awards, was named on Rare’s 2016 Under 40 List, and Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England's 2018 Leading Women of Distinction. She continues her platform work as a speaker at local schools and universities. Curtis is a two time TEDxSpeaker, with talks titled “Leading Ladies: Why Representation Matters" and "Daring Daily: The Power of Practicing Courage."
Allie holds a B.A. in Political Science and Public Relations from Syracuse University, a Master of Public Affairs from Brown University, a Master of Science in Administration of Justice and Homeland Security from Salve Regina University. She is currently pursuing M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.
Allie has served in the Army National Guard for 5 years and currently serves full time as a Public Affairs Officer. As an animal lover, Allie lives in Cranston, RI with her cat Brady and dogs Goose and Charlie. She rescued both from the south as puppies. In her free time she enjoys training them.

Alexis Stine
Consultant
Alexis Stine is the current 2024-2025 Royal International Miss titleholder! She has been heavily involved in the pageant industry since 2019. Alexis’ pageant experience includes placements and awards within the Miss United States Agriculture, American Royal Beauties, Miss Iowa USA, America’s Best Pageant, Rhinestone Royalties, and Royal International Miss systems. She was previously awarded Top 3 in BOTH the Royal International Miss Divisional and Role Model divisions in 2023 after placing Top 5 in both divisions the year prior. She has also been awarded the opportunity to offer her expertise as a judge for several systems and is currently an associate coach with Elevation Pageant and Interview Consulting, offering coaching in modeling, platform and personal development, and interview for pageant girls of all ages for systems like NAM, Miss Earth USA, USA National Miss, International Junior Miss, and more. Alexis created her community service initiative, Paws and Think, after expanding her career in animal rescue and welfare. Her initiative aims to bridge the gap between pets and people and create humane education opportunities and support for local, national, and international animal shelters. Alexis is a third-generation graduate of Iowa State University with a 2021 B.S. in Animal Science. She is an avid equestrian and competes with her six horses when she’s not competing in pageants. She also volunteers her time as a board member of the non-profit organization Hope After Racing Thoroughbreds, whose mission is to retrain and rehome retired racehorses from the track. Alexis lives in Boone, Iowa with her dog, Kilo, and two rescue cats Purdy and Blake.
